Started by queer womxn, made for queer people.

 

HOW IT ALL STARTED

After working in the erotic trade industry for many years, founder Dani (she/her), still felt the heteronormativity of most retailers was uninviting, and offered a limited range to suit LGBTQI+ womxn's desires. So she quit her job, and poured her soul into starting the company she wished existed. Her aim was simple: to provide a friendly and inclusive space for queer people to find sexual fulfilment.

Sapphoric was founded in Liverpool, England, and is a small UK-based company.

 

ETHOS 

Sex is fun, sex is silly, and good sex is a fundamental human right. This is a safe space to explore your desires because YOU. DESERVE. GREAT. SEX.

To ensure an inclusive space for LGBTQI+ womxn and non-binary people, we have removed all gendered language from our product descriptions. Instead, all products have been described according to what body part they are for. However you identify, you are welcome here.

Please be aware that we as a company try to be as inclusive as possible, but we do not control the packaging of products and some brands do include gendered language.

MINDFULNESS

Good sex in good conscience.

All lubricants & better sex elixirs are fully vegan certified, and we do not knowingly stock anything that includes animal by-products. All harnesses are made from synthetic materials and our dongs are made of high grade silicone.

All delivery packaging is made from ethically sourced cardboard and is fully recyclable, including paper tape!
